Australian and Indigenous youth program!
Kenyaroo is committed to “grass roots” football and has launched coaching clinics and gala days within NSW and QLD including remote areas and Indigenous communities for the encouragement and education on the sport of Rugby League. This will allow Australian and Indigenous youth who may not have had previous opportunity to involve themselves directly into the sport of Rugby League. The program encourages health, fitness, nutrition, training programs and will be in remote areas ensuring that Indigenous communities have an opportunity to involve youth into an excellent program which overall allows them the opportunity to train and provide dedicated pathways to Country Rugby League, NSW AND QLD Cup and with the National Rugby League.
SPORTING APPAREL
Kenyaroo will be releasing apparel that can be purchased directly through our site and a percentage of the funds will be donated back into Rugby League communities.
Elite Kenyan Athletes
KENYAROO is currently conducting school programs in Kenya for all age groups to build on scholarships and the pathway of opportunity into the National Rugby League in Australia.
Australian and Indigenous program.
Kenyaroo has designed programs where funding will be allocated and allow Australian and Indigenous youth to attend coaching clinics, gala days and ongoing training and education without any costs to the players. By utilising fundraising, grants and sponsorship we will be able to provide a fully qualified team to train those aged from 13 onwards building a pathway for them in the sport of Rugby League. In remote communities where this is not an option we will be instigating the program and ensuring Indigenous Australians have the option to pursue sport and possibly become elite sporting athletes within the game of Rugby League.
Fundraising
We have a fundraising page set up for those interested in helping towards this great initiative. All donations over $2 are tax deductible and it’s a great way to support both Australian and International athletes.
